001 Hominid Cryptid / Regional Variant (Red-Haired)

CHRONOLOGICAL LOG: THE CRIMSON GLIMMER

PHASE I: THE DISRUPTIONAt approximately 16:30 hrs, witness vehicle (Chevy pickup) experienced localized electronic interference. Subject reports a total "audio vacuum" effect where ambient forest noise (cicadas, wind) ceased entirely.

PHASE II: VISUAL CONTACTAn upright, bipedal entity emerged from the blackjack oak treeline.

  • Estimated Height: 7ft+

  • Dermal Covering: Thick, matted, oily fur with a distinct bruised crimson tint.

  • Locomotion: Heavy, deliberate stride; crossed the easement with "trivial" ease.

  • Olfactory Markers: Heavy metallic musk, reminiscent of copper and wet earth.

PHASE III: NEUROLOGICAL IMPACTThe witness reports a "Soul Look"—a period of intense eye contact that induced temporary paralysis and extreme "biological dread." Subject describes the sensation as the "normal world dissolving."

PHASE IV: DISENGAGEMENTThe entity retreated into the deep timber without physical escalation. Ambient sound returned immediately upon the entity's disappearance.

AUDIO/VISUAL LOG

Archivist note:

The "Crimson" coloration is a rare but documented phenotype in the Southern US corridors. Of particular interest is the radio failure and the "silence" reported—this suggests the entity may exert a localized infrasonic or electromagnetic influence on its surroundings.
